Cheese Rolling is one of the world’s most unusual and exhilarating sports, attracting participants and spectators from around the globe to the small English village of Brockworth each year. Held on the steep slope of Cooper’s Hill, this quirky event dates back hundreds of years, with origins shrouded in mystery and local folklore. The event, traditionally held in late May, features participants hurling themselves down a 200-yard hill in pursuit of a seven-pound wheel of Double Gloucester cheese.
